Just a reminder, our pierogi fundraiser ends on Thursday, February 22nd. Orders and money are due that day to Mr. Rush.

And, our February restaurant fundraiser is Chipotle. That will take place on Tuesday, February 20th from 4 - 8 PM. Hope to see everyone there.]]>
<![CDATA[Sarris candy fundraiser]]>Thu, 04 Jan 2018 20:51:44 GMThttp://cmsbb.org/home/sarris-candy-fundraiserWelcome back. In this week of bitter cold temperatures, chocolate is the best remedy and we have exactly what you're looking for in that regard.
Today your child should have brought home the order form for the Sarris Candy fundraiser. Everything (order forms, money, etc.) is due on Tuesday, January 23rd. The delivery/pickup date will be Tuesday, February 13th (which will be our February Band Booster's meeting).
You'll send one check made out to CMSBB for your entire order.
The pickup will be in the lower hallway near the band room.
And, with the pickup being February 13th, it's a perfect gift for Valentine's Day for that special someone.

While you are busy practicing for the spring concert, we want to make you aware of a couple of dates in January...

The spring Sarris Candy Fundraiser will begin on Thursday, January 4th.  The delivery date will be on Tuesday, February 13th.  That makes it a perfect Valentine's Day gift for that special someone.

The January Band Booster's meeting will be on Tuesday, January 9th at 7:00 PM in the bandroom.

The Annual CMS Band Fun Night will be on Friday, January 26th.  It is free for the band students to attend, but they must fill out and return a permission slip.  You can download the permission slip below and it will also be sent home with the students. If you are interested in helping out in any way with Fun Night (chaperone, donations, etc.) you can email the boosters at cmsbbmail@gmail.com or send us a PM through our Facebook page.

Tomorrow night, Tuesday, December 12th is the 8th Grade Steel Band Concert. (If you aren't in the 8th Grade Steel Band, you do not need to be there).
The concert begins at 7:00 PM.
Students need to arrive by 6:45 PM
Attire: Black dress pants, black dress shoes, black symphonic or concert T Shirt from last year
Ensembles from the High School band will also be performing.
We will also be raffling off the poinsettias that were used to decorate the stage.
All students and parents are welcome to support the 8th grade Steel Band members.
Also, on Thursday evening is our December restaurant fundraiser at the Texas Roadhouse in Washington. You can print the flyer below or you can grab the image from our Facebook page. Hope to see you there to support the band.

The middle school concert will take place on Thursday, December 7th starting at 7:00 PM.

The arrival times for the students are listed below.

5:15: 8th Grade Officers
5:30: 8th Grade Band Students
5:45: 7th Graders

The attire sheet is available below.

We will also be taking orders for the CD from the holiday concert.  If you haven't heard the 
band on CD before, you'll want to pick this up.  It is well worth the $12 price tag.

There will also be a 50/50 and basket raffle at the winter concert.  Ticket prices are as follows:
$1.00 – 1 ticket, $5.00 – 6 tickets, $10.00 – arms length.  

Tickets, CDs, Raffle and 50/50 tickets can all be purchased using cash, check, or credit.

Tomorrow night: Tuesday, November 21, 2017, the fall play will take place at 7:00 in the middle school auditorium.
The play is called, "This Is A Test." and it is sure to please. The kids have worked really hard and as with all Mr. Rush productions, the bar is always high.
Tickets are $3.00 at the door.

Tuesday, November 14th
- Apparel Sale, Band Shirt Sale both end and money and orders need to be turned in to Mr. Rush, dropped off at the Hoagie/Candle pickup, or turned in at the Booster's meeting
- Hoagie/Candle pickup at the middle school in the band hallway on the lower floor from 5-7
- Band Booster's meeting starting at 7

Wednesday, November 15th
- We've got you covered for dinner with a Chick-Fil-A restaurant fundraiser. The flyer was sent home with your kids, but if they are anything like mine, you haven't seen it. So, we've included it below. All you need to do is show up hungry, reference the flyer, and a portion of your dinner bill goes to the band as part of their fundraising efforts.

<![CDATA[Apparel Fundraiser]]>Mon, 06 Nov 2017 15:03:04 GMThttp://cmsbb.org/home/apparel-fundraiserWith the Hoagie fundraiser finished, it's time to look forward to the holidays.  With that in mind, our next fundraiser is the Spirit Wear fundraiser.  Below you will find the brochure and order form for the Canon-Mac Apparel Fundraiser.  These items make great gifts for any Canon-Mac student, parent, grandparent, or just interested bystanders.  

This fundraiser will end next Tuesday, November 14th.  This fundraiser can be turned in to Mr. Rush OR you can drop it off in person when you pick up your Candles and Hoagies from 5:30 - 7:00 PM that night OR you can give it to us in person at the Band Booster's Meeting that starts at 7:00 PM.  See, multiple ways to drop everything off.

<![CDATA[Jazz Band Starts Friday October 27]]>Tue, 24 Oct 2017 12:38:22 GMThttp://cmsbb.org/home/jazz-band-starts-friday-october-27Jazz Band starts this Friday morning, October 27th, 2017.  Jazz band will rehearse on Fridays from 7:30 to 8:35.  

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant fundraiser.  It looked like everyone was having a good time and eating some good food.

Also, our Hoagie Fundraiser is still going on and will be due Friday, November 3rd.  Orders and payment can be turned in to Mr. Rush.
